&lt;P&gt;I don't have a lot of experience with telephone authorizations, but letters in online authorization codes are completely normal. They are 5-6 characters and can be any mix of letters and numbers.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just called to get an approval code for a Master card, and they gave me an approval with a letter in it. I have never seen this before. can anyone tell me what it means. Thank you&lt;/P&gt;</description>
