Prior Authorization and Capture when the amount is greater than Original Authorization

Hello,

We are using the AIM method to integrate. In some cases when we get an authorization but the final charge amount is great than the original authorization. Therefore, we cant use Prior Authorization and Capture method. Can you tell me what is the correct procedure in this case?

The purpose of authorize is to reserve money so your capture can collect it later. There is no way to capture a larger amount than you authorize. I suggest you look into CIM / validation mode instead.

How about if I just void the authorization and do an Authorize Capture?

How? You aren't supposed to be storing the credit card info on your end. You can't spawn another AIM transaction from an existing one. Therefore, it is impossible to do what you're proposing.
