That obviously doesn't make any sense, since developer accounts are supposed to work for just about everything. Can you post your version of the sample code, with your login ID and transaction key x'd out?

Hi,

I just created a developer account and followed the 15 minute setup guide

https://developer.authorize.net/integration/fifteenminutes/#hosted

It worked for two test transactions and then suddenly stopped working. Clicking the secure payment form button now tells

The following errors have occurred.

(56) Credit card transactions are not accepted by this merchant.

I haven't touched any of the settings on the developer account and I have no idea how to make the account accept credit cards again. I even tried making a new developer account and it didn't work at all. Can anybody help?

Thanks.

I swear I'm not making this up, but it works again now. There must have been something up with the development server. For the two accounts I made (both made today), both just weren't working correctly between the hours of 4 to at least 7 Eastern.

As for the code I was using, I was just using the PHP sample code exactly as provided (with my id and key filled in obviously).

So I guess no more problem, just 2 wasted hours of WTF. :smileyhappy:

The developer server goes down fairly often, so that's not a huge surprise.
