      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you're issuing the credit within 120 days of the original transaction, you can use a regular credit, which doesn't require the expiration date. Most companies only offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Beyond 120 days, you'd have to use unlinked credit, which does require an expiration date, and would therefore run the risk of hitting an expired card. How you deal with that is up to you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
