My apologies if these questions have been answered elsewhere but I have not an exact answer. Anyway here goes.

My client requires a solution that:-

a) Will process refunds

b) Will process recurring payments (without user interaction)

c) Will handle small charges

d) Will handle occasional manual user payments

e) Handle multiple currencies (using my exchange rate)

I am seeing this as CIM. Does this do all the above?

Paul Samuel, webhelper.com

so how do I deal with the fact we will have multi-currency transactions? (USD & GBP) sorry to bug you :)

what I mean is we will have users based in different countries and convert GBP into their currency to request payment

They officially only support USD, but might be supporting CAD soon, not sure about GBP.
