We are using an Authorize.Net test account in an attempt to test our our shopping cart. We are using the Advanced Integration Method and have our SSL in place.

The SSL has been manually verified by the CA and confirmed that the certificate is correctly installed and that the certificate is valid and not revoked.

However, when attempting to test the payment processor, the following error is returned:

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate Error 1212776:
The Certificate Authority that generated the server's certificate was not known
The SSL certificate date has expired
WinHttpSendRequest Failed for https://test.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll - One or more errors were found in the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate sent by the server. See the above message for the details of that error. (12175)

Any help in resolving this issue is appreciated.

Doesn't sound like is your certificate, but your server/pc is not accepting the certificate from authorize.net.
