charges while creating and updating CIM payment profile.

Hi All,

Can anybody confirm that the charges of 0.01$ are charged to Merchent and not to the customer while creating or updating the customers profile.

And also how can i avoid these charges of 0.01$ while creating and updating the customers profile.

Are you talking about the fee for the validationmode=livemode? Fee is apply.

or the auth_only transaction to the customer CC when validionmode=livemode? Is auth_only to the customer CC, but it will get void, so the customer will not get charge but might appear on the as a hold on the account.

I have configurred a test account of authorize .net. I am creating customer profile on Authorize.net using CIM of Authorize.net.

When i create new customer profile i am receiving Merchant email receipt saying that 0.01 USD is charged for Test transaction for ValidateCustomerPaymentProfile . Is this amount is charged to Merchant or the customer whos details are going to be stored on Authorize .net.

And also how can i avoid these charges?

It a auth_only transaction to valid the custom CC, it will get void.

If you don't want to test the CC, set the validationmode=testmode.

on the CIM documentation search on "validationMode"
