why my transactions are unsettled?

Am in the process of doing a refund. But i can see that almost all the transactions in my account are unsettled.

Am in my test account using the demo card numbers.

Can any one help me out on this?

Hello Sathumenon,

If your transactions are unsettled, you must use Void. A refund can only be performed after settlement.

Does that mean we have to do a void transaction first before sending a request to refund?

Two distinct cases:

If the transaction is unsettled, you will use Void to cancel the transaction.
If however the transaction has settled, you will need to instead perform a refund.
