Update transaction details with transaction ID

We would like to update a customer's shipping address at the transaction level after "Authorizing" the transaction and before capture.

We have the transaction ID, and thought we could use that to update the transaction's shipping information.

I can't find any mentions of updating a transaction in any API documents or examples.

Is the possible?

If so, does anyone have any example code?
