1) Can I untick all options and bypass CCV altogether?

2) I'm using the CIM feature so I guess the CCV code is only required for the first transaction, then later it processes it through automatically without a problem Is that correct?

I can allow it? Did you mean disallow the option? I think 'bypass' is a better word, but I just want to be sure that I can untick all options and not ask for the CCV code at all.

There are 2 different settings.

1)Payment Form - Form Fields - where you can set if the CCV code is required.

2)Card Code Verification - where you can reject transaction depend on the CCV response from a transaction.

I was talking about 2, you were talking about 1?

But either way, you can send it on the create payment methods to check it. Then not send it on the create transaction.

So it has to be sent and it's required for you to ask for? But when it comes to actually processing it, I can select to not have that part sent over to the processor?

I was thinking of taking CCV off of my site altogether, completely, and not requiring my customers to enter it whatsoever. So that's not possible?

If you set is as not required and not checking the CCV response.

It will use it if you send it. And if you don't, it won't reject it either.
