How can I check if the AVS check works in dev sandbox? I ran a credit card with incorrect customer address and zip and the transaction went through.

In the Sandbox, you will need to use the Sandbox Account Error Generation Guide to create specific transaction responses including AVS responses.

I want to test AVS against a real credit card with the Sandbox. I dont want to use the Error Generation route.

Is this feasible with the Sandbox?

Hello @cookaf

The Sandbox does not connect to the payment network. As a result, the only way to test responses in the Sandbox is to use the error generation guide.

Thanks RichardH; so any response from the Sandbox that requires payment network connection will not function as the live accounts do, such as any feedback from the AVS or any actual bank interaction, even if using live credit cards
