Hospitality – 50% deposit on booking & paying balance later – CIM?

Have clients that require a 50% deposit on booking a vacation rental property. Credit card is taken over the phone and manually entered into a merchant provided virtual terminal that remembers payment info. Once guest check in occurs, the owner uses the virtual terminal to recall the payment info and charge the card for the remainder of the balance. Worked great for the past 5 years, but now they are growing and need to automate this process to some extent. Additional info - sometimes deposits are given a year in advance.

If I use CIM to store and charge a 50% deposit amount, can I give\build an interface to allow the property owner to charge the remaining balance manually at a later date? If not, any suggestions on a solution?

1. Customers selects dates for stay and pays the required 50% deposit online >>>stored in CIM

2. Customer checks in and does other things to accumalate additional charges

3. Owner totals bill and charges payment info stored in CIM
