yes, the sandbox do not send to the processor, it just simulate the transaction.

I would guess once the credit card get approved on a capture, 99.99% is fine.

Hey,

This is my first time integrating a stand alone store with Authorize.net. I do, however, have PHP experience. Just a little background. I'm using the DPM with PHP. I'm testing it out on a Linux based server with the Sample Code provided on this website.

So here is where I run into problems. Say I have a shopping cart with 1 item costing $10. When filling out the credit card information, I can literally put in ANY credit card (meaning expired) along with any expiration date, security code, etc. and the transaction will be approved. Is this how it is suppose to be? Or is this only in the Sandbox?

Do I have to wait until the payment is settled until I ship the item?

Am I missing something here? Any advice or direction will be great.

Thanks,

I would also confirm that you are receiving a Transaction ID for each successful transaction and that it doesn't include Test Mode in the response.
