ARB, first pay

Hi all.
I'm doing the following steps:
1) I make AIM payment
2) After I have payed, I create subscription where I will be billed once a month.
The problem I have is that my first transaction and subscribtion are 2 different things and are not connected in any way.

I found instruction how to make a transaction to become the monthly subscription(https://www.authorize.net/support/CNP/helpfiles/Tools/Automated_Recurring_Billing/Create_a_New_Subscription_from_a_Previous_Transaction.htm).
But I was not able to find how to do the same with the help of API. If there is any way to do so?

Hi DooMer ,

There are different ways you can create ARB subscriptions as mentioned in this article. I believe you are wanting to create an ARB subscription from an existing transaction that was settled successfully, this can only be done manually by logging into the merchant interface and is not currently an option through the API.
