    <description>&lt;P&gt;You mean EMV chip? It doesn't take more a few days(hrs) to developed credit card processing. And website still use the credit card# to process. Not sure why you think it pointless.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>EVM &amp; Authorize.net</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have been reading about the movment of EVM and it really looks like EVM will be the thing in the next few years. &amp;nbsp; With that being said, &amp;nbsp;does anyone know if Authorize.net is moving in that direction?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Being a developer, &amp;nbsp;I am currently in the middle of software that depends on credit card processing, but if the current method is going to be obsolete in a few years, then it is pointless to build it right now.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone hear any news about EVM?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
