Hi Jill,

Your best option is to talk to your hosting company about this. You will need to make sure that your shopping cart solution is using SHA2 as mentioned here any website or payment solution that connect via api.authorize.net that cannot validate SHA-2 signed certificates will fail to connect to Authorize.Net's servers. We do not have a step by step guide that will walk you through checking and updating your server configuration.

Thanks,

I'm having trouble even getting started checking to see if my org needs to do anything for the upcoming security updates on Sept 21. Are there any posts that have a step by step guide for non-develpers to see 1) if any action is necessary and 2) what those steps are?

The blog post that we are directed to is a bit above my click-button knowledge and since we are a nonprofit, we'd love not to hire a developer for something that may require no updates.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Jill Michaelree

Cascade AIDS Project
