PHP AIM SDK Error

I have downloaded and configured the SDK for php.

I have a sandbox account and I have followed all the configuration setting. I have verified them by echoing them to the screen. However, when run the sample app and click the buy button on the checkout page. I get

Error!

We're sorry, but we can't process your order at this time due to the following error:

response code
response reason code

No code or response code is returned. I get no error of any kind.

I have searched this board looking for clues and a last it has come to posting a question here hoping for some guidance.

Could you please confirm where you obtained your Authorize.Net PHP SDK?

Authorize.Net Software Development Kit (SDK) License Agreement v. Oct. 29, 2010

This is from the License document that is in the anet_php_sdk that I downloaded from github.

Once logged in click on fees in the left hand menu then select Authorize Net and the sample store will appear.

Uncheck the box at the top of the left nav menu that is labeled Bot to see the full screen.

I would make certain you are using the most current SDK located on GitHub: https://github.com/AuthorizeNet/sdk-php
