Refund Transaction Card Error

Hello,

I am using authorize.net sandbox gateway url. I placed an order using test credit card for mastercard. I enabled testing mode as 'Live' and Payment action is 'Authorize Only'. The order was placed successfully and i raised invoice with 'Capture Online' its also completed successfully. When i try to refund with 'Refund online' it throws error as '

Credit Card: xxxx-0015 amount $105.00 refund - failed. Authorize.Net Transaction ID 2251674769. Gateway error: The credit card number is invalid. If the invoice was created offline, try creating an offline creditmemo.'

Please help ASAP.

A google search tell me you are using magento. did you try their forum?

Hello @avezatech2202

When we examine transaction 2251674769, it was authorized for $105 and then we received a priorAuthCapture which set the status to Captured/Pending Settlement. Until this transaction settles, you cannot issue a refund, you can only void the entire transaction. Transactions settle once a day after the cut-off time configured in the Merchant Interface.
