Pre-authorization voiding, The money returns back after long time

Hi all,

I've an application in production that does a pre authorization when an item is bought.

The problem is that each time a pre authorization is voided the money not returns back short time, and our customers contacting us to ask why it is past 3 or 4 weeks and the money is not returned.

If I search the transaction I can see the transaction is voided correctly, the only problem is that the money is not returning back shortly.

It's normal? There is a way to resolve this issue?

It an issue with the customer credit card issuer bank.
