We have a c# web application that can only run on asp.net 2.0 -- the replacement web app isn't ready and we just lost our merchant provider and are now looking at alternative merchant providers. Can we use .net 2.0 to submit merchant transactions to Authorize.NET ?

Hello @chris100s

We would recommend moving to a supported version for your platforms, libraries and tools as required by PCI DSS. Microsoft stopped supporting .NET 2.0 in April 2016. This means that using .NET 2.0 in a payment processing application, is a potential violation of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
