The issue is that when a new account is created it uses a customer ID number that makes it difficult to determine who the client is based on their email address. What we need is a way for the account to be created using the customer name as their customer ID in the authorize account.

we are running Wordpress and the plugin WooCommerce Authorize.Net CIM:

Could you clarify where the New Account is being created? Is this within your WooCommerce system, or are you referring to new customer profiles (CIM) created with Authorize.Net?

Customer Profiles requires a unique identifier, which can be a customer id, a description or email address. These are choices the developer makes when creating their integration. From your description, it appears WooCommerce is using a unique customer id. If that is the case, you should speak with WooCommerce about your needs.
