&lt;P&gt;That looks like it might be an issue with URL encoding.&amp;nbsp;A valid CAVV might have an equals sign "=" at the end, and I see %3d at the end of yours, which is a URL encoded equals sign.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Try to submit the CAVV without the URL encoding and let us know if that works for you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>The cardholder authentication value is invalid.</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am using Cardinal Commerce&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;to provide authenication services and&amp;nbsp;able to receive back an ECI and CAVV.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;When I append those values to the Authorize.net request I get a response of error code 117 "The cardholder authentication value is invalid".&amp;nbsp; Can anyone help me or identify the problem.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Example Request:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;lt;cardholderAuthentication&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;lt;authenticationIndicator&amp;gt;02&amp;lt;/authenticationIndicator&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;lt;cardholderAuthenticationValue&amp;gt;jELUbgG%2bTfj0AREACMLdCae%2boIs%3d&amp;lt;/cardholderAuthenticationValue&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;lt;/cardholderAuthentication&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
