Create Payment Profile via CIM API question

While creating Customer Payment Profiles using the CIM API, we got valid CustomerProfile and CustomerPaymentProfile Ids. However our clients are complaining that they are seeing a 1cent charge on thier Credit Cards. Is that normal? How can we avoid that?

Hello @rdasan2017

If you specify validation Mode as Live Mode, we must run an actual transaction to confirm the payment information is valid.

Many but not all of the processors can accept a zero $ charge. If not, a $.01 transaction is performed and voided of successful. The charge should drop from their acount but that is controlled by the processor.
