ARB recurring - modify date of next charge

I'm looking for a way to modify the next charge date for a recurring ARB subscription. The scenario is that we accept auto-renewing memberships (recurring payments), and our renewal year is Jan-Dec. If a person joins late in the year, they receive membership through the end of the following year.

By default, the ARB recurring payment renews on the date it was created. What I want to do is modify that recurring subscription to adjust the next recurring charge date. But there doesn't seem to be a clear way to do that in ARBUpdateSubscriptionRequest.

Hi,

Unfortunately, after the first payment of a subscription has been completed, it would not be possible to change the start date. The date for renewal of payments is based on this start date.

Another way to probably do this is to try using the Trial Period transactions.
