Question on Accept Hosted using IFrames

Hi,

I am looking at implementing payment using Accept Hosted using IFrame and everything seems to be working. However I have a question on the sample provided for this at

Here in sample code , the end user is shown a message "Open Authorize.Net in an iframe to complete transaction" with a button "Show Payment Form" next to it , and user clicks on the button to submit the form with the token embedded in it to fetch and show the payment form.

My question is , is this step of user pressing the button to submit token and then to get payment form mandatory because of some PCI requirement or something ?

Because if it is not mandatory, I could just skip this step and save an additional click for the user by triggering the click and submit on form load via JS.
