Will E-check payment status capturePendingSettlement guarantee the settlement

Hi,

In card Authorize.Net payment, we ship products base on the status "capturePendingSettlement". We usually don't wait for the settlement as we know the money will transfer definitely.

1)Can we ship products base on the status "capturePendingSettlement" in the echeck as well?

2)Is there a guarantee for transferring money once it comes to the "capturePendingSettlement" status in echeck?

3)Are echeck "capturePendingSettlement" and the card payment "capturePendingSettlement" the same?

eCheck funds are not verified in real time, so there is no guarantee. The bank could still return it for any number of reasons, such as insufficient funds. When you ship products is dependent on your comfort level and business processes.
