I am using the Android inperson SDK and keep receiving this error when I try to complete a transaction. I've looked into the sample app code and do not see any part where they specify a transaction key or api login ID when completing the transaction. Am I missing something or does the inperson sdk not need that specified?

Should I be logging in with my transaction key and api login id rather than my username and password to the merchant account instead?

Thanks!

Just in case anyone is having this same issue - I figured it out. It turns out the processor in our card reader only detects swipes and I had to set the terminal mode to swipe only. With chips it just gave that vague error of invalid credentials. Hope this helps someone!
