    <description>&lt;P&gt;What is the recommendation for if we need to search using the customer ID? Do we have to pull the entire list and match one-by-one and store the Profile ID in our database for future use?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This was asked a long time ago (&lt;A href="https://community.developer.authorize.net/t5/Integration-and-Testing/Get-Customer-Profile-CIM-integration-By-ID-or-email/td-p/13396" target="_self"&gt;link&lt;/A&gt;) but thought I'd check to see if anything was done on this front. We have a reasonably large database of customers and pulling the entire list is a huge waste.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Doing a&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN class="syntax323"&gt;createCustomerProfileRequest (to return an error) doesn't really solve the problem.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="syntax323"&gt;Help.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No, the CIM API still does not currently support search using the customer ID.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
