We explored Jitterbit, Mulesoft etc. however dont really have the budget for it. So the alternative I guess would be to speak to a developer to do it through APIs?

I have little to no experience in Dev work so not sure how easy or hard it is to integrate SF with other systems. However, before I start looking for developers to get quotes from I want to check if there is a way to do it without using any or much code? Does Salesforce have a functionality that would allow to do this? I only have experience in SF Admin and gave never come across anything like that but guess its worth to ask.

I looked at Salesforce Connect but the licenses are basically same price as going with Jitterbit...

Any advice here would be great.
