Augusta ID Tech and VPOS2

We still need help setting up Augusta ID Tech reader for EMV chip reader transactions.

Our existing system is using the in-person SDK with a swipe reader card.

We have been able to successfully use this test system (VPOS2):

https://vpos2.authorize.net/

Which requires a Chrome extension:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/authorizenet-point-of-sal/nlmafifddohpicbnipcndobchhcfgalf

We can enter in transaction (amount, order#, etc) manually, but we are unable to connect to our web based point of sales system to pass this data back and forth.

Does Authorize.net offer any support for our developers, or can we hire someone from Authorize.net to help us with the integration?

I am facing the same problem - we have a web browser based POS and would like to use Augusta device connected by USB Keyboard emulation.  We integrated the old fashioned magstripe card readers using the auth.net api, but that is not P2PE.

Did you find a solution to this?  My alternative is to do another gateway integration to something like CardKnox or another one.  Their list of certified integrations are on this page.

The Augusta is a secure EMV chip and magnetic stripe reader that offers retailers a simple upgrade path to EMV from traditional magnetic stripe readers. This reader is able to provide superior reading performance while encrypting sensitive magnetic stripe and EMV data. With all data encrypted, the Augusta plays a key role in endto-end solutions reducing the risk of data compromises.

It seems like you're referring to Augusta, a company that provides technology solutions, specifically ID Tech and VPOS2. ID Tech usually relates to identification technology, such as ID card readers or biometric scanners, while VPOS2 might be a specific product or service related to point-of-sale systems. If you're looking  Learn how here  for information or assistance with these technologies, feel free to provide more details, and I'll do my best to help!
