Merchants can now accept PayPal on their sites using PayPal Express Checkout through their payment gateway accounts. This enhancement allows merchants to view their PayPal transactions alongside their other Authorize.Net transactions in the Merchant Interface. Accepting PayPal through Authorize.Net is provided with your merchants’ accounts at no additional charge*.
By offering customers the convenience of paying with PayPal, merchants can potentially improve checkout conversion and attract new customers. The PayPal Express Checkout button complements your existing checkout page and can open the door to over 169 million active PayPal accounts.
We are announcing the availability of PayPal to our merchant base this week. We encourage you to update your payment solution to include PayPal as a payment method, using our PayPal documentation and updated SDKs and API Reference Guide. Merchants must be using the current Authorize.Net API to use this feature.
