Have you ever had trouble deciding which Authorize.Net API to use? Wanted an easy way to download code and test your connection? Have you thought to yourself, “Gee, I wish Authorize.Net had some SDKs and sample applications”?

Well, we've been listening to your questions and requests. Recently, we set out to make improvements to our Developer Center that would help you get your job done more efficiently. We think that what we've come up with will do just that.

What Improvements Have Been Made?
The changes we’ve made can positively affect you regardless of your level of familiarity with the Authorize.Net APIs.

  • New to Authorize.Net? If you are a new Authorize.Net developer, you can be up and running quickly with our streamlined test account creation process , 15-minute test workflow  and sample applications.
  • Still Deciding? If you are still trying to figure out which API to use, we’ve made the selection process easier to understand. Click here for an overview of the APIs and new visual explanations.
  • Experienced Developer? If you are a seasoned Authorize.Net developer, yes, even you will find that your integrations can go more smoothly as we are now providing open source SDKs in many popular languages.

In addition, we’ve added a new integration method to allow for a fully-customizable solution which also helps simplify PCI DSS compliance requirements . Check out our Direct Post Method page for more details.

Enhanced Community
On top of all that, we’ve increased visibility into the conversations you are having here in the community. Your forum posts are now popping up in relevant places all over the site, even as they continue to grow our existing community.

And in case you hadn’t noticed, we are blogging now! Woo hoo! We plan to have Authorize.Net employees, community members and industry experts blog here regularly, so check back often. You’ll be able to comment on each blog post and as usual, we’re looking forward to your comments and questions.
