Error Code: E00027 The transaction was unsuccessful.

I am getting the following Error response while doing the 'authOnly' transaction type  : 

code : E00027 , text : The transaction was unsuccessful.

code : 16 , text : The transaction cannot be found. , type : transaction sub error

Can any one of you help me resolve this?

That error should not be returned for an authOnly. Could you post an example request (remove any sensitive data)? Maybe there is something in the request that is causing an issue.
