My client has given me the task of integrating authorize.net to magento. Im wondering if anyone has advice on which method to use

Direct Post Method (DPM)

Server Integration Method (SIM)

Advanced Integration Method (AIM)

Automated Recurring Billing™ (ARB)

any help with this i would really appreciate it.

Hi 

When i try to hit the transact.dll explicitly it returns a response in HTML. I have integrated the custom checkout and using magento rest api, last step is to generate a transaction id from Authorize.net and parse it for success and failure. But when I try to hit the dll it returns the html and how to parse this if it is a failure or a success.
