I have a client that accepts payments for their products up to 90 days before their product ships. Since they do not fully charge the customer's card until a few days before their shipping date they have to reauthorize the card before the token expires. They are currently doing this reauthorizing from a homegrown application and are looking to move away from all of their current in-house applications.
Is there a way for Authorize.net to reauthorize the credit card information every 25 days to keep the initial authorization from expiring? That way, they can charge the card for the full amount on the payment date which can be 30 to 90 days out from the initial transaction.
What would be the best method to capture the card information without storing it in a customer profile?
