My customers are not finding the 2-page/step checkout process for Simple Checkout user friendly. I believe the confusion is stemming from a "Thank you for registering to attend." message on the first form page. They read this as a confimation of a completed final step, and don't necessarily click on the small "Continue" button below that would take them to the next page. Is there any way to edit/delete the "Thank you for registering to attend." text from the first page?

That sound like the desc on the simple checkout item, edit it in the merhcant account.
