Error in Trans Detail API response XML docs

 <transactionType>refundTransaction</transactionType>

there will also be:

<refTransId>1234567890</refTransId>

Hey krc,

Thanks. The guide does state that refTransId will only be returned for a linked credit, which is what refundTransaction is. I've sent this on to the documentation team so they can make this a little more clear.
