Hi all,
I know there are various posts in the community related to Apple Pay and ARB, but none of them provide any successful answers. I have tried integrating many different ways, with no success.
If I create a successful payment (using Apple Pay token) and try to assign the payment profile to a customer, all subsequent transactions fail.
I have also made numerous attempts creating an ARB subscription with Apple Pay and all of the charge are declined. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is becoming a big roadblock for us.

Hello @erm
Integrating apple pay with ARB might be difficult because of the way apple pay conducts transactions. While apple pay is mainly meant for one time payments; it can possibly be coupled with recurring payment systems using tokens. These tokens represent the user payment details and can be saved for later use.

I have this same issue. I created a token that specifically is intended for recurring transactions (via preauthorized payments)/recurringPaymentRequest.
We then pass that token into a CIM/ARB. That recurring transaction does get denied though. Whereas a one-time transaction goes thru just fine. I read thad the CIM stores the decrypted token, but the transaction declines due to "Declined (Card declined by issuer - Contact card issuer to determine reason.)" Authorize.net tells me somehting different every time I ask so no one really seems to know whether or how this could work.

Hi ij_webhosting - after a tremendous amount of back and forth with phone support and emailing with some of the actual technical team, the consensus is that this simply isn't possible on Authorize, regardless of the ability to add that token as a recurring option. Unfortunately, a big let down for us that has pushed us to explore some alternatives.

The EXACT same experience here. I was able to get the recurring token and pass it into CIM, but the subsequent transactions all decline
