No Post Back

Running into an issue simlar to the one described on SIM Relay Response Not Getting to My Server

This error is displayed to users:

"An error occurred while trying to report this transaction to the merchant. An e-mail has been sent to the merchant informing them of the error. The following is the result of the attempt to charge your credit card.

This transaction has been approved. It is advisable for you to contact the merchant to verify that you will receive the product or service."

It happens sporadically.

We send the transaction, it processes, the post back to the server never happens.  We see no indication in the server logs that the post back was even attempted.  This seems to be a larger system issue at Auth.net.  It's happening to us across multiple sites, multiple servers, custom programmed, boxed ecomm.

We've seen the comments about exending the TTL.  We've tried this.  It doesn't seem to help.  We know it's not a code issue since the server isn't even getting hit.

So... what kind of debugging information can Auth.net provide?  If there's a transaction and the call back fails, shouldn't there be a log of what the failure was?  Can that be provided on a per incident basis?  Can it be provided in the merchant account administration area? Can it be provided in a details area of the message the customer recieves?

We can provide only limited detail as to what is causing this type of error. This error occurs any time that we attempt to load your relay URL and receive any response other than HTTP 200 and we only log the final connection state. If you use the contact us form provide the precise relay response URL and sandbox gateway ID that you are using, then we can get this information.
