We have vendors that want to use CIM for many of their buyer's purchase where business repeats but other buyers are making a one-time purchase only. These buyers specifically do not want their card going into a system where it may be charged multiple times by the vendor.
Is there a way to use the Accept form (or similar hosted form) to perform an authorization where the the payment information does not get stored in the CIM database.
This may be an idea for API enhancement.

Hi @kgw39,
Our new Accept Hosted feature seems to be what you're describing. It's a hosted payment form that can be used for transactions, but it's separate from any customer profile features.
You can see documentation for this feature at http://developer.authorize.net/api/reference/features/accept_hosted.html
