Silent Post occasionally not received - how to resolve?
Everything is going fine with my SIM except that occasionally we do not receive the Silent Post.
Because we are using the Authorize.NET receipt instead of the Relay Response method, this is an issue - we don't have any way of knowing whether an initiated transaction was not completed by the consumer, or if the Silent Post was not received. We have to wait for reconciliation reports to determine when this happens, and it is a huge inconvenience and very disruptive to our workflow.
It would be wonderful if we could have a web service where we could query transactions that we have not received a response on and pass in the sequence number and/or some transaction details from the initiation to get a resolution on whther the transaction was completed or not.
