Hi,
We are a Rails shop already integrated with Authorize.net using the ActiveMerchant gem. We are building an app and would like to use the ActiveMerchant gem to relay the encrypted card information to Authorize.net.
We wanted to know if this was possible. If there is a Rails dev on this forum who has successfully done this, we are happy to hire as a consultant for advise on how to do this as well.
Thanks!

Hello @rishi
Yes, this is possible. We would recommend creating an issue at https://github.com/Shopify/active_merchant/issues to request this functionality. Let us know when that is done and a link to the issue and we'll contact a key developer working on ActiveMerchant to look at the request.

Thanks Richard. There is now an issue on ActiveMerchant tracking this (see link below). Would be great to have this added in to make it even simpler to integrate with Authorize.net for payments.

Thanks,

@RichardH The ActiveMerchant team is open to accepting this checkin. See https://github.com/Shopify/active_merchant/issues/1625. Has your dev agreed to make the changes?
In the meantime, we will continue to explore the RubySDK.
Thanks!

I am having hassle finding an answer on Shopify that works for saving credit score playing cards and this nevertheless seems to be the nearest lead like this. It seems to works well with Magento however now not with Shopify.
