The Authorize.Net SDKs are now on GitHub! We have also published our SDKs to all of the major package repositories, making it simpler to include Authorize.Net in your project.
For those who don’t know me, my name is Brian McManus, and I’m Authorize.Net’s new API Product Manager. I’d like to personally thank and pay tribute to all the developers who have provided feedback, logged bugs and even suggested fixes for our SDKs. Going forward, GitHub will be the main SDK destination for developers to access the source code, track issues and, of course, submit pull requests.
Finally, we also have created a new community section within the beta API documentation where you can contribute and access other developer’s API bindings. We hope to promote and encourage use of the great Authorize.Net language bindings already on GitHub today.
Our work has only begun. We are committed to continuously improving our documentation, SDKs and the APIs themselves. Last month we released our new API Reference Guide and we think we’ve reduced the time to understand and try our APIs by a factor of about 10 fold. With today’s announcement, we hope that the next steps of integrating Authorize.Net with your own application have also gotten significantly simpler.
We would like our presence on GitHub to be a catalyst for enhanced collaboration with the amazing community of Authorize.Net developers around the globe. With your help, we hope to build an amazing payments developer experience.
