I see that I can use createTransactionRequest in the AIM XML API to create a new customer profile and payment profile at the same time that a credit card transaction is done, and I can then also use createTransactionRequest to perform a credit card transaction with an existing customer profile and payment profile.

Is it possible to also use createTransactionRequest with an existing customer profile but a new credit card number, and have a new payment profile created? Or does that require an extra step?
