I working on java solution to integrate annual subscriptions with 12 trial months and where customers can renovate, 
I am using the values:
subscription.paymentSchedule.interval.length=12
subscription.paymentSchedule.interval.unit=months
subscription.paymentSchedule.trialOccurrences=1
subscription.paymentSchedule.totalOccurrences=2

What is the best way for renewal?
Increase totalOccurrences + 1 to existing subscription or create a new one?
