I have continually reported a website for using authorize.net to process illegal sales of illegal tiems.
This has gone on for over 12 months and no actions have been taken.
Why bother to even have any TOS if you allow sites to breach it and operate illegally ?
LAWFUL USE.
You agree that You will not at any time conduct Your business in any manner that directly or indirectly offers, sells, leases, licenses or displays, delivers, advertises, recommends, or promotes any product(s), service(s), data, information, image(s), text and/or any content which:
- is unlawful or violates any applicable local, state, federal, national or international law, statute, ordinance, or regulation including, without limitation, Credit Card Association rules, consumer protection law, Internet tobacco sales, unfair competition, antidiscrimination or false advertising;
- infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other proprietary right of any party, including, but not limited to, the unauthorized copying and posting of trademarks, pictures, logos, software, articles, musical works and videos;
Neither of these terms are enforced and any report either never gets a reply or is just paid simple lip service from your support.
I have found it much more benefical to report authorize.net for their allowance of DMCA infringing sales directly to VISA & Mastercard.
If you too have found authorize are actively allowing illegal sales to be made with their services then you too should contact VISA & MASTERCARD. The more people who complain directly to the merchant suppliers will mean Authroize.net have their licence to operate suspended.
