I am new to Auth.net. I have a client that wants to store client credit card up at Authorize.net for a "tokenized" purchase.
He will have some customers that use this tokenized method, and some that will enter their credit card at the time of purchase, and not create a Customer Profile.
I know I need to use the CIM API for the tokenized part, but do I also use the CIM API for instances where the buyer does not use the Customer Profile? That is, do I need to use the DPM or SIM API for non tokenized purchases, and then the CIM API for tokenized purchases?

CIM API required a customer profile. So yes, SIM, DPM, or AIM would be the other option.
