E00104 - Server in maintenance

We've been trying to capture some authorizations today, and we're getting this error:

E00104 - Server in maintenance 

Can somebody tell me what's going on?

The status page doesn't show an issue currently.

Are you posting to the sandbox or production?

Is it still happening?
