Expired Authorizations and Post Expiry Transactions
Hello,
Three Questions:
1. From a developer standpoint, how can I manually make an authorization as expired (without waiting for 30 days for an authorization to expire)
2. If I am able to manually expire an authorization, what approach should I take to reauthorize? Should I freshly initiate a authorize and capture?
3. Does Authorize.net maintain (like PayPal PayFlow does) an old transaction and new transaction id's when we reauthorize expired transactions?

There is no mechanism to expire transactions manually. The next closest action would be to void the transaction. Once voided the transaction will be settled with the other eligible transactions.
The process for reauthorization would be to submit a new auth only or auth and capture transaction request. Authorize.Net does not support reauthorization using linked transaction ids.
