Account security is of the utmost concern at Authorize.Net. Over the next few months, to help strengthen the security of merchants’ payment gateway accounts, we will be requiring merchants to select a new Secret Question and Answer. This will help us better protect accounts from unauthorized access. This change will also affect any test accounts.
After logging into the Merchant Interface, you or your merchants will see an account update page that asks to do the following:
From that point on, you and your merchants will need to use the new Secret Answer for any account features that ask for it.
